Coming from Whitehorse, head north on the Klondike Highway and drive approximately 4.3 km past the Takhini gas station. Turn left at the blue highway sign that indicates the turnoff for Vista Road. Prayer flags, a reflective vest, and a sandwich board indicate the entrance to the property, about 520 m and the second driveway up Vista Road, on your right.

In-person meditation sessionsWeekly In-Person Meditation Sessions - Sessions will resume on February 1.
Regular sessions will resume on February 1st, following the two weekend retreats with Lama Padma. Everyone is welcome to drop in on Sundays for this meditation practice; no previous experience necessary. Chairs and meditation cushions are available. Scroll down for more info. Shamatha Meditation

Join us for shamatha (calm-abiding) meditation practice, a mind-training that uses diverse focusing techniques to help the mind settle and help the mind-owner notice its habitual patterns of distraction. This practice will be joined with exploration of fundamental Buddhist concepts. No experience necessary.

The Red Tara practice focuses on prayer, visualization, and mantra recitation evoking Tara, the visualized expression of our own infinite potential for pure awareness and compassion.
In-person Concise Red Tara practice
This concise practice, held in English, is open to all. Introduced by Chagdud Rinpoche for his western students as a doorway into Tibetan Buddhism, this short meditation practice develops awareness and compassion for all beings. Whether you are curious about Tibetan Buddhist meditation or would like to refresh or share your connection with this precious practice, let's do it together! Practice texts will be available on site.

Wednesday February 25 to Thursday March 12, 2026 (15 nights) Tromge Jigme Rinpoche invites you to join him on a pilgrimage to the holy Buddhist sites of India and Nepal this coming February to March 2026. Lama Sherab and sangha from South America will also be participating. Starting from Delhi, the group will fly to Bodhgaya for a week-long stay, followed by 8 days traveling by air-conditioned bus to Rajgir (Vulture’s Peak), Nalanda, Patna, Vaishali, Kushinagar, Lumbini, Srawasti and Sarnath/Varanasi, then flying back to Delhi.
