Donor Program

Vajra North Donor Program

Vajra North’s Donor Program provides support for dharma activities and the planning of local events.
Vajra North is a practice group that offers in-person weekly group practices, monthly online Red Tara practice, and retreats led by visiting lamas. Although funds are raised from attendance at specific events, some funding is always needed to cover the rental cost of meeting space as well as secure travel arrangements for visiting lamas.

Donations help plan and sustain regular in-person practices and retreats, and the hosting of visiting teachers. Donations can be made at regular intervals (monthly, quarterly, or yearly) or as a one-time donation.

Vajra North is a federally registered charitable Canadian organization (887996841 RR 0001) and donations are tax-deductible. A tax receipt is issued at year end for donations of $20 or more.
Anonymous donations are also gratefully accepted.  Vajra North does not require or expect donations from participants and will not turn away anyone from a practice or a teaching due to lack of funds.

Two ways to DONATE:

Online:
Vajra North is pleased to now fundraise using the Zeffy platform.
With Zeffy, 100% of your donation makes it to Vajra North.

When you see “Help keep Zeffy free for Vajra North” and are asked to contribute, you can avoid the suggested high percentages by selecting ‘Other’ from the pull-down options. We invite you to consider a 3% donation for this service.

Tax deductible receipts for your donations are emailed and can be retrieved at the end of the year from this site.
